You will discover wanting to practice becoming easier. You will learn exceptional control and ease through vocal technique, as well as style and interpretation skills while working on repertoire.

Suited to all levels, these ongoing courses explore:

Confidence in presenting your voice
Complete body awareness through vibration
Accessing true potential while in studio or on stage
How to greatly improve focus and memory
Proper body alignment and relaxation
Outstanding breath control made easy
How to deal with fear and creative blocks
Physical and vocal exercises
Performance technique
The musical style of your choice

A Unique Multidisciplinary Approach
Orville draws from areas beyond singing to create a holistic approach to training your voice. Among these are Effortless Mastery (a path to creative freedom as devised by Kenny Werner*), the Alexander Technique (an approach to body alignment), Vipassana meditation (a way of awakening the body to sensation), Ashtanga Yoga, the martial arts, actors’ improvisation and scene study.

Orville Heyn combines all of these disciplines with a foundation based on Italian classical vocal technique to strengthen any style of singing.

LOCATION: ARRAYMUSIC (The Artscape building)

60 Atlantic Ave, unit 218, Toronto, (near King and Dufferin) . The building is located on the north west corner of Atlantic and Liberty.

IMPORTANT: Please enter the building via the parking lot side, which is on the north side of the building. Go to the wheelchair ramp that leads up to an unmarked grey metal door.

Parking is readily available if you are driving. If you are coming by transit, the building is located 4 blocks east of Dufferin St. and 1 block south of King St.
